Elluminate selects Vision2Lead as a Special Project Partner!

Elluminate, provider of live Web conferencing, has selected Vision2Lead, Inc. as a Special Project Community Partner. Elluminate is providing a virtual office for Vision2Lead to use as a laboratory for ongoing research on electronic collaboration. This virtual office allows for synchronous meetings, presentations and focus groups, in addition to one-to-one interviews with research participants.

The Elluminate virtual office offers a full range of communication and collaboration tools. The shared whiteboard is ideal for work that involves collaborative development of visual models and diagrams, or critique and editing of documents and project plans. The two-way audio using VOIP offers a valuable opportunity for inexpensive dialogue across the globe.

The first research project using the virtual office will be Developing Competencies and Skills to Work Collaboratively in a Connected World: Perspectives of Learners. The study will explore ways learners conduct online collaboration activities and how they develop skills and competencies needed to organize and complete work together.
